Bulla Dairy Foods (Bulla) was founded over 100 years ago by three families and is still owned and operated by the same three families six generations on, crafting the best
of Australian dairy to share with the world.
We take pride in our care, craftsmanship and passion, and pleasure from a job well done. We stand for natural and fresh ingredients, knowing where your food comes from, and creating real food that brings enjoyment and goodness to families everywhere.
Bulla products are made with care from only the freshest milk and cream, sourced locally in Victoria directly from the dairy farmers we partner with. The rich, fertile soil around regional Victoria provides pure, creamy milk by the bucket load – facilitating the growth of the Bulla brand and the diversity of Bulla dairy products. Bulla is proud to partner with over 270 dairy farmers around Victoria. Our farming community is central to our business, and we are honoured to work with them and their families to source fresh, local Victorian milk directly.
Our business has navigated gracefully through six generations of change and industry evolution – not to mention pandemics, wars, recessions and technological advancements! We continue to operate a sustainable business with a strong team culture, pride in innovation and with deep consideration for the communities we live, work in and serve.
Looking after community
From showing up for our local communities through sport, events or with the famous Bulla Ice Cream truck, to giving back to those in need, we are driven by our values in everything we do. For many years, we have partnered with organisations to donate products, funds and time to supporting families experiencing food insecurity. Most recently, we have worked with SecondBite to raise over $1 million and provide millions of meals for families facing hardship.
Bulla is also proud to be a part of the Colac community in Victoria, where we have three
manufacturing sites and support the careers of over 800 team members. Many of our Bulla family have been with us for over 10 years, and we are proud to support the local economy and see our business flourish in this beautiful town.

Not only do we offer a diverse range of retail products, but we are also proud to leverage over a century of dairy experience to be a leading brand in food service. Our products such as Bulla Frozen Yoghurt Cups 200ml and Bulla Ice Cream cups 100ml, are ideal for health and aged care facilities, providing enjoyment and convenience.
Bulla’s Frozen Yoghurt cups are made with fresh yoghurt and are the perfect afternoon snack, available in a range of fruit-filled flavours. As we continue to focus on our sustainability goals, we are proud to now offer this delicious treat in fully recyclable packaging. On a hot summer’s day, you can’t go past Bulla’s Icy Pops featuring lemonade, raspberry and Cola - each lick is like a trip down memory lane.
Finally, Bulla’s famous Real Dairy Ice Cream is a premium quality ice cream made with only fresh milk and cream. Our secret? The first ingredient is milk (always farm-fresh), no artificial colours or flavours and 10 percent milk fat. This is the perfect ingredient for milkshakes, thickshakes, iced coffees or simply enjoying on its own… cone or bowl, your choice!
