Ash Barty is one of Australia’s most successful female tennis players, who could not forget her unbelievable Australian Open win in 2022! She encompasses all the values we are trying to install in children of today and we are so excited to provide your school with the opportunity to win a visit from Ash this year.
The Ash Barty Schools Challenge is an exciting competition designed to promote tennis among Primary School students through engaging tennis-related activities.
The competition aims to inspire schools to embrace tennis by providing a chance to win a special visit from tennis champion Ash Barty.
Schools who are signed up to the program and actively submit entries in the competition go in the draw to win this opportunity.
Eligibility:
Must be delivering a Tennis in Primary Schools Program (this includes both Sporting Schools (ASC) run programs and programs run outside of the Sporting Schools program)
Must be a current or become a Tennis Partner School Target Audience – Primary Schools (including P-12 schools)
Schools can submit multiple entries
If you are not yet a Tennis Partner School don't worry - you can still enter the challenge by signing up. Plus to celebrate your new partnership, you'll receive a Primary School Resource with lesson guidelines and Tennis lesson plans, along with 50% off the Partnership Equipment Pack (valued at $950.00)
How to enter your school:
To enter, teachers need to capture a photo or 30-second video of their students engaging in tennis activities and submit it via the website. For more information on the competition please visit here –
You can submit photos or videos of various tennis related activities, such as students practicing their serves, throwing and catching the ball, hitting a ball against a wall, participating in games/activities, playing matches or using tennis equipment in creative ways. The more engaging and fun – the better!
The challenge begun on the 15th October 2024 and close September 28 2025 so enter now so you don’t miss out!
