Football Australia and the Member Federations are proud to deliver Australia’s largest school-based participation program – Sporting Schools.

This initiative aims to get students active, build fundamental football skills, and inspire a lifelong passion for the game. Programs are available for students from Kindergarten to Year 8, with flexible options tailored to different needs and school environments.

Program Options:

Coach Delivered: Primary – Focus on football fundamentals and physical literacy.
Coach Delivered: Secondary – Engaging sessions for Years 7 & 8, inclusive for all skill levels.
Coach Delivered: Futsal – For both Primary and Secondary students, indoors or outdoors.
Coach Delivered: Inclusive – Developed with Special Olympics Australia for students with intellectual disabilities and autism.
Teacher Delivered: Skills Program – Football fundamentals delivered by school staff.
Teacher Delivered: Festival of Football – Blends classroom learning and active football participation.
