Autex Acoustics: How a Simple Acoustic Upgrade Is Enhancing Focus and Performance in Classrooms

Managing acoustics in learning spaces is critical—not just to meet performance standards, but to support functionality and engagement. Autex Acoustics® has long supported education environments with Composition®, a durable wallcovering solution trusted for decades.

Like all Autex Acoustics products, Composition® is carbon neutral, reinforcing Autex’s commitment to environmental responsibility and supporting sustainability standards in the education industry.

The quality remains unchanged, only now with more ways to make it your own

Autex Acoustics just launched Composition with new finishes and performance options to provide even greater design flexibility. Across all 39 available colours, a smooth finish has been added alongside the popular velour finish. Both finishes are pinnable, and the velour option is also Velcro-receptive, making them highly versatile for educational spaces.

An 18mm thick panel has also been introduced alongside the existing 12mm panel, offering even higher acoustic performance to support better learning environments.

The Autex Composition® range is one of the company’s longest-standing acoustic wallcoverings in the education sector. The range is designed for learning spaces and enhances classroom acoustics with durable, tactile wallcoverings that reduce noise, support focus, and bring colour and texture to learning environments.

The new 18 mm thickness has an NRC rating of 0.55, offering even higher acoustic performance.
