Treetops Adventure: A fresh start to Term 1

With Term 1 now well underway, we know you’re thinking of a meaningful shared experience for your students before the Easter holidays. A visit to Treetops Adventure offers students the chance to step outside the classroom, reset their energy, and strengthen connections through an active day in nature.

During a typical session, students spend two to three hours exploring up to ten tree ropes courses set high among the treetops. After being harnessed and guided through safety training by our experienced team, they move independently through colour-coded courses designed to suit a range of confidence and ability levels. As students climb higher, the obstacles become more complex, encouraging persistence, communication and problem-solving in a supportive outdoor environment.

Your students will have two to three hours to explore a variety of ropes courses set among the treetops – the higher they climb, the more challenging the levels. Our experienced team provides the equipment, training and support throughout the session, allowing educators to keep their feet on the ground. Students have an opportunity to spur one another as they navigate wobbly wooden bridges, swinging logs and soar across the ziplines. Each course is colour-coded to suit different ability levels, with the higher challenges encouraging resilience, communication and courage.

“First term is a great time to get students outdoors together,” says Kristen Schenk,Park Managerat Treetops Adventure Canberra. “The shared experience in the trees helps students get to know each other, build confidence and reconnect with nature. We see it as a natural extension of what teachers are already doing in the classroom, whether it’s a local excursion or part of a camp program.”

Networld is coming to Canberra Park in March 2026

Networld is a highly accessible, elevated net-based experience where students can climb, bounce and explore interconnected net spaces suspended above the ground. Designed to support all ages and abilities, it encourages social interaction, movement and shared participation in a safe outdoor environment. With a capacity to host up to 200 students per day, Networld complements Canberra Park’s existing Ropes Courses, offering schools multiple activities within a single location.

So whether you’re planning a local excursion or a multi-day camp, Treetops Adventure provides a safe, structured and memorable experience that supports both learning outcomes and student wellbeing.
