Young Athletes: Lifelong skills and confidence through sport
Young Athletes delivers 15 sport-specific programs, 3 signature fitness programs, and nutrition programs tailored for primary, high school, and homeschool students across NSW, all curriculum-aligned!

With a strong focus on inclusion and long-term wellbeing, our mission is to help young people build a lifelong, positive relationship with physical activity, through both traditional sports and exciting fitness alternatives.
Why schools choose Young Athletes
Young Athletes’ programs are designed with purpose. Each lesson is intentionally structured by experts to ensure that students are progressing in their skills, balancing learning and skill development with fun and engagement for all students.
Our facilitators bring energy, professionalism, and a passion for sport to every session, helping students feel confident and capable, maximising participation and keeping students excited for the next session every time.
You’ll often find even the least active or motivated students eager and excited to get involved in a Young Athletes program, all due to the approach of our coaches.
Sporting schools grant-funded programs
All 15 sport-specific programs are fully eligible for Sporting Schools grants, allowing schools to access high-quality programs at no cost. Without grants, sessions are still cost-effective, starting from just $79 per class or under $3 per student.

Programs we offer
Schools can choose from 15 sport-specific programs including: AFL, American football, athletics, basketball, baseball, cricket, football (soccer), hockey, rugby league, rugby union, softball, tennis, touch football, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball.
Each program delivered is modified for different year levels and student abilities. Beginners to the sport and experienced players will stay challenged and involved throughout.
We also offer three signature programs, each designed to target key curriculum outcomes:
The Young Athlete: Builds fundamental movement skills like throwing, catching, kicking, batting, running, agility, reaction time, and hand-eye coordination.
The Young Mastermind: Combines fitness with strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork.
The Young Titan: A high-energy strength and endurance program designed to help students enjoy staying active beyond traditional sport.

NSW Curriculum-aligned
Our programs are mapped to the NSW PDHPE curriculum, covering most physical outcomes alongside many outcomes from other PDHPE strands.
Vacation centres / OSHC
Our full suite of programs is now available for Primary School Vacation Centres during the school holidays. Sessions have been specially adapted for one-off visits, offering a fun, high-energy format that fits your centre’s schedule and group needs.
Free trial days available
Not sure which program suits your students best? Schools are welcome to trial a program before committing, but we’re confident you’ll love what we offer.
