Treetops Adventure: Fall for the adventure this Autumn

Exclusive offer – $35 per student for ropes course excursions.

Autumn is one of the best times of year to experience the outdoors. Crisp air, autumn colours and comfortable temperatures create the perfect setting for students to step beyond the classroom and into nature. At Treetops Adventure, schools can fall for the adventure, exploring high ropes courses set among Australia’s beautiful forest environments up to 20-metres above the ground.

During a typical school visit, students spend two hours navigating our tree ropes courses, suspended high among the treetops. After our trained team fits each student with a harness and provides a safety briefing and course training, students progress through a series of colour-coded courses designed for different ability levels. As they climb higher, the obstacles increase in complexity, encouraging communication, resilience and confidence along the way.

Planning a school camp? Stop by Hollybank in Tasmania to experience the Zipline Tour, with ziplines spanning 15 – 400 metres. Or if you’re visiting Canberra, your students can bounce around at Networld, an interconnected maze of suspended nets – no harness required!

Autumn excursions are a wonderful way for classes to reconnect outdoors before winter arrives, giving students space to move, collaborate and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.

Planning your excursion

How long is the experience? School sessions run for approximately two hours on the ropes courses, networld or zipline tour, giving students time to explore multiple courses during their visit.

How do you manage large school groups? Our parks can host 40 at a time, or 180 students per day with the larger groups divided into smaller groups for harnessing and training. These groups begin their sessions in staggered intervals to keep the experience running smoothly and minimise waiting time.

What safety processes are in place? Our instructors hold Working With Children Checks and provide a training lesson before students begin climbing. Risk assessments and safety documentation are available on request to assist with school approvals.

Can buses access the park? Bus access is available at several park locations, and our team can help coordinate the best arrival arrangements during the booking process.

With parks located across Australia, Treetops Adventure provides a memorable outdoor experience that blends physical activity, teamwork and connection with nature.
